I've raised
$115
for the Relay team! You guys have been awesome, thank you so much! My personal goal as a team member is $200, and I'd love to reach it! We're almost there, guys!
~~~
Relay for Life is held by the American Cancer Society.
I participate because I know that by raising funds and walking in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life event, I will help save lives from cancer.
Relay participants, including me, all raise funds because we’ve been affected by cancer in some way and because a Relay For Life event gives us the power to fight back.
Every day, the American Cancer Society helps people take steps to reduce their risk of cancer or find it early, when it is easiest to treat. They provide free information and services to cancer patients throughout their journey. The organization is investing in crucial research to prevent, treat, and ultimately, cure all cancers.
~~~
As a member of a team, I have a personal donations page, where people I know can specifically donate to my personal team. I'd like to use this tool as a way to offer art commissions to you guys in return for small donations.
Basically, instead of using your USD to pay me directly for art, just send that USD right on over to Relay by going to my personal donations link, here:
main.acsevents.org/site/TR?fr_…
~~~
Now, being a member of a team, I'm not exactly sure what the donation process looks like to a non-member, but I believe, towards the end of the process, there is a place where you can add a comment that will be seen along with your donation. If you could please put your dA username in that comment, that will help me keep track of who donated what. If there isn't a place where you can do this, take some sort of screenshot or other proof of the amount you have donated to let me know. As a captain, I DO get a notification each time someone donates, but I won't know who is who unless you let me know
If you are interested at all, please send me a note with the commission information. On behalf of myself, my team, and the millions in the world affected by cancer each and every day, we all greatly appreciate your time and donations.
~~~
Because of the charitable and time-sensitive nature of this fundraiser, all commissions I get through this service will become first priority, jumping ahead of my other current commissions for the time being.
The commissions I'm offering for donations will be
flat colored sketches for $10,
and lined, colored, and shaded pieces, Busts will be $15 and Full Body will be $25.
Remember, these pieces are for donation to the American Cancer Society. As you are directly sending your money to them, I see none of it myself. Please keep that in mind when ordering.
As far as characters go, in an attempt to get as many orders as possible, I /will/ be offering humans this time around, something I don't normally do. Please keep in mind, however, that even though my human work has improved over the past year, it will still be of slightly lower quality than any feral work you have me do.
Here are examples of what you'll be purchasing with your donations:
~~~
I thank each and every one of you for considering ordering one of these commissions. Your money will go to an amazing cause for the greater good of all humanity, not just to the inside of my piggy bank.
Thank you, again!
Help for a friend - cheap adopts!
My good friend ~Erradox (https://www.deviantart.com/erradox) is in need of a new tablet pen and is opening up some adopts on many bases! They currently prefer USD via PayPal, but are also accepting dA points! Please take a look if you're interested, and there is a lot to choose from. They have bases for humans, anthros, canines, felines, equines, and more. Erradox has an /incredibly/ cute and fun loving style and you will not regret having some of it for your favorite characters!
~*Closed*~
You must be able to pay via PayPal, before December 15th.
No payment by that date, no art. I'm normally willing to haggle but this is a very time-sensitive emergency.
My friend's father was recently diagnosed with cancer. She is currently scheduled to leave the country to attend graduate school this coming January. Her father has expressed his wishes that she go to school and do what she loves. Round-trip tickets are currently around $1,000 USD.
A group of us are trying to raise enough money so that she can come home an extra time during the coming year. Right now she is not planning on coming home again until the 2018 holiday season.
